The Cooperative ‘’Akritisses’’ was founded in 1996 and consists of 24 members. The Cooperative has two cafes one in Kipi customs and another one in the Peplos area.

Its aim is to promote the home- made and tinned products such as couscous, jams and preserves. The main purpose though is the socio – economic and cultural development of the female farming population of the area.
